The GMAT, GRE, SAT, IELTS, TOEFL test scores are pre-requisites for admission and financial aid to the specific universities and colleges. Universities in the United Kingdom, Australia and other countries also recognize these tests. Performing well in these tests can be crucial for admission in the universities, scholarships and visa. A difference of 150 extra points in these tests could result in affecting many decisions, for e.g. Financial Aid may not be awarded. A Scholarship in the form of a Teaching Assistantship or Research Assistantship for a low GRE score or Teaching Assistantship will not be awarded for a low TOEFL score.
